How do I remove 30 days late charge from my credit report? |
i been 30 days late on four of my accounts due to financial hardship reasons. is it possible that the lender will remove the 30 days late off the accounts if i ask them? will this stop me from getting new credit??? some please help. No, they will not take late charge off, but after 12 month, if you will pay in time, lender will ignore this with a letter of explanation. No, if it is accurate, the lender will not remove them. If you keep the situation isolate, and keep documentation on why your bills were late, this allows future decision-makers to make exceptions when deciding whether or not to extend your credit. Just start today, and keep paying on time. See my profile :) tips here visit http://www.click4freeinfo.com/indexcredi... Credit scores are based on history, regardless of the reason. Hardship means that you are a credit risk. Why would you expect them to remove an accurate reorting of you paying late ? It will affect your credit score. The only way to raise your score is to be responsible and pay your bills on time. If you were only 30 days late one time the lender may remove the mark from your report. This is totally up to them and would be based on the length of time with them and how has your history been during that time. Don't expect them to do it, as the chances are very slim, but it could be worth a try. Will it stop you from getting new credit, in the short run it probably will. However, there is a bigger weight placed on recent history. So if you are perfect from now on as time passes these marks will have less of an effect. |
