Charge offs stay on your credit for 7-years no matter if you pay them or not.

As far as paying them ,they will drop off your report after 7-years and after the S.O.L. expires (NDRC.com) there is nothing that your creditors can legally do to you.

7 yr but,they sell your debt to other companies to keep it valid and on your report
