Does this place really give free credit reports?

Found this on Google:

This site is ran by Privacy Matters and I have actually signed up for my free credit report with them a few months ago. You get a free credit report and credit score from all three credit bureaus. The first 7 days is free, then after that they will charge your credit card $19.95 every month. You will have to contact them if you want to cancel. I never called in because I like to stay up-to-date with my credit history. The price is pretty reasonable if you like reviewing that type of information on a monthly basis. If not, then feel free to cancel. But bear in mind you will not be able to sign up again for the free report. Hope that helps.
I did not even visit the link, it is very dangerous to enter your social security number on any website you are not 100% sure of. Some exist to collect info from unsuspecting gullible people.
I don't know, but this one is free

Credit reports are ALWAYS free.. a credit score is about 7 dollars. You can get one every 3 or 4 months, I believe. Go to suze orman's website at suzeorman.com.. click on the 'resource center' tab, and then click on 'view all topics.' Under 'resource center topics' click on 'managing debt.' The last topic is 'free annual credit report online.' This takes you to the ONE AND ONLY truly free, no strings attached FTC website, annualcreditreport.com. There are a lot of websites out there that are similar, and claim to be legit, but they're just not. Places like freecreditreport.com are a scam, and they charge you a ton of money for service you sign up for that you don't even realize you're signing up for. I've gotten my credit report from Experian (one of the credit bureaus) after finding Suze's website (if you don't know who she is, she's a very popular financial advisor with a show on msnbc, or one of those channels, I forget which). Anywho, it was great.. got to see the whole report and print it out. I declined to get my score, as that had a small fee, 7 dollars I think.. but I'll get it next time so I can compare it again a year later. Good luck! :o)

Oh, and don't forget that you can always check businesses online at bbb.org (the better business bureau). It's not guaranteed, but it should at least help a bit.
Gotten my free credit report before, with no strings attached
Not really. You must first sign-up for their credit monitoring services. While you may get a free trial, you'll need a credit card to sign up and you have to make sure to cancel before the trial ends. And a lot of people are having a hard time getting these places to cancel their trial membeship.

The only place to get your free reports is AnnualCreditReport.com. ACR is the only website that is government approved to receive your reports; no credit card required nor do you have to sign up for credit monitoring services.
Under the FACT Act, you're allowed on free report per bureau, once every 12 months.
