Tried to get my credit report and they woulnd't let me...here's what happened.? |
I went to AnnualCreditReport.com typed in all MY information CORRECTLY. Then they said they needed to ask me some questions to make sure it was me. So I Answered them TRUTHFULLY. There was one about some Mortgage from Jan. 2000. I was in high school then. I DID NOT GET A MORTGAGE!!!! UNFORTUNATELY, my sister-in-law has the SAME FIRST and LAST name as me. She married my brother. I think she's the problem here. Everything comes to easy to her in life. Makes me sick!!! How do I get my credit report...cuz I'm telling the truth when answering those questions...and its not letting me. ITS NOT FAIR!!!! Trying calling Trans Union @ 877-322-8228. that's a horrible situation... just continue to be persistent! There won't be a score unless you've established some sort of history. I'm asssuming you don't have a credit card or any loans. No credit sometimes is worse than bad credit lol. That is one of the very common verification questions. It will put an account that you never had. In this case you should have answered "NONE OF THE ABOVE" to that question. There is usually a follow-up question on the amount of the mortgage. In that case you answer the same "NONE OF THE ABOVE". So there should be nothing to worry about. Now, if you did happend to fail the verification you need to request it by mail.
