Missing Accounts on my Credit Report - What?

Through my credit monitoring service, I recieved a copy of my credit report (I get one every 3 months). I noticed a significant drop in tha amount of payments in the summary so I took a much closer look at it. FIVE accounts that were previously listed on my last report are now gone. One of them, is an installment of my student loan - the other one's still there. The others are two loans and two other (store) credit cards.

Any idea why this happened? Should I call Trans Union or these companies and ask them about it?

If the accounts are paid, it could simply be that they have reached the 7-year limit and dropped off your report. Source(s): Finance Manager for over 7-years.
