Is there a way to remove inquiries from a credit report without waiting for 2 years to have them clear? what is wrong with this picture #1 mr golfer the correct answer is other than you doing the homework yourself in disputing wrong reported tradelines or inquiries, tha credit bureaus have to send the dispute to the company that pulled your credit, if they dont respond by 30 days(credit bureaus) then they will remove the inquiry, never the less it will stay on your report for 2 yrs. no -- but they clear off every 90 days any way! Not 2 years If they are inquiries that are due to you applying for credit, the answer is no. And the first poster is wrong, it's 24-months per the 2007 edition of the Consumer Action Handbook published by our Government. Finance Manager for over 7-years. |
