Whats does a collection that has been paid look like on my credit report? please dont answer if you havent?

The only thing that changes is it shows as paid with a $0 balance. Source(s): Finance Manager for over 7-years.
it looks like you paid it after it went to collections. you can ask the collection company to remove it for you. You generally make that deal when you pay them off. but just write to them and see
It looks really bad! If you owe the debt, pay it right away and write an explanation for why it was a mistake to the credit reporting agency.
