If I won a small claims judgement and it has not been paid, can I report the judgment to a credit bureau?

If I won a small claims judgement and it has not been paid, can I report the judgment to a credit-reporting agency?? If so how to I do that?

the court has to do it ..
You report it back to the court that their order has not been adhered to. They'll take it from there... they LOVE that kind of stuff when folks ignore them.
I am sure it varies state to state. For me the next step was to file for a disclosure of assets. You fill out a form that requires them to bring proof of everything. taxes....titles...safety deposit boxes...it is a page long list....stocks ...insurance policies. and at that hearing they tell the judge why they can't pay you! Good luck
Here's what you do. You apply to the court you won your judgment in for an OEX - an Order to Appear for Examination. You can find this form on the internet. Just fill it out, present it to the clerk of the court, and the clerk of the court will "issue" the OEX. In other words, a judge will sign the order and will set a date for the debtor to appear in court. You then give that OEX to a process server and have the debtor served with it -- it's like a subpoena. The debtor must appear in court and explain why the judgment hasn't been paid yet. If the debtor doesn't show up in court on the appointed day, a bench warrant will issue for his or her arrest. Then they'll pay up, believe me.
go the court where you got the judgement and ask for the paperwork to get it garnished. They should have told you this when you got the judgement, the lazy fools.
I hate it when this happens!Check and see if the person who owes you the claim was put on probation. If they were then find out who their probation officer is and tell them you have not received anything on your claim as promised by the court.He/she may be in violation of their probation, and if they are ask the officer to evoke it.Then you will see some action one way or the other.Good Luck! After you won the small claim, you may now sue for your claim in civil court. And report it!A judgement is already on this persons credit report, happens automatically.
