Are you pleased that Tony Blair is taking the credit for a rise in reported vandalism?

The large and statistically significant rise of 11% in vandalism shown by the BCS comes after years of government efforts to curb anti-social behaviour.

Mr Blair said: "The public are not going to put up with mindless vandalism - and I am pleased that more people are reporting cases of graffiti.

That's how they talk when they live in a world of their own!
Tony will take credit for anything!
Typical Tony Bliar spin.
Its the wonderful world of spin my friend.

The real problem in policing is all the red tape required...

The average policeman only makes 11 arrests a year, and only do when really necessary, this is because of the huge abundance of paperwork required.

Even if the police just stop someone on the street, there is a form they have to fill out called an 'encounter document'.

Cut the paperwork and let the police, police.
i just dont want to hear anything Mr Blair has to say anymore he swings with the wind so hurry up and GO for all our sakes
maybe it's just another baby-boom generation, that would explain it, or perhaps it's happening because following the right-to-buy selloff of millions of council houses, the rest are being treated with neglect & bureaucratic harassment.
Blair's record is terrible on everything he touches and he seems to relish the prospect of taking all the credit for anything he does whether it is good (which isn't much) or whether it is bad like taking Britain to war for instance and lying about the reason WMD.
