If a lender doesn't report an approved loan to the credit bureaus can i do myself?

Sure, just send the credit bureau a letter requesting that your loan be added to your report. Give as many details as you can.

They will confirm the details with the creditor, then add it. It may have a couple months to appear, just be patient.Did you accept the loan? If not, it doesn't go on your credit report. If you did, give it AT LEAST 30 days, 45-60 to be safe before you assume the lender didn't report it.

Even then, how can you report it without confirmation from the lender...
