What is the procedure to report an unpaid judgment to the credit bureaus?

Unless you already have an account with credit bureaus, you can't report a judgement on your own.

However, the credit bureaus regularly check court records for judgements and will eventually find yours. Just be patient.
While judgments are public record, my experience has been that judgments don't always automatically end up on someone's credit rating. However, recording a judgment lien at the county recorder's office is the best way to make it gets more widely publicized so that the credit bureau's will pick it up.

In California, you can get a document called an Abstract of Judgment. Recording the Abstract at the county recorder's office creates a lien against any real property owned by the judgment debtor and is the best way to make sure the creidt bureaus take notice of the judgment. The laws and procedures of your state may be different.
