Has anyone checked their credit report from one of these online sites?

I want to, but i don't want to enter credit numbers or my SS#...so now what? *shrugs shoulders* guess i won't know my score :(

There are many other safe sites out there too, but I figure why risk giving my personal information out to a 3rd party??? Equifax, Experian and Transunion are as direct as you can get!

Also talking with a representative over the phone wont be any better.. you'll still be giving them (a person) your personal information AND waiting weeks for your report to be shipped to your house. It is the website created by the 3 bureaus to meet the federal regulation that you could have a free copy of your report once every 12 months. They will need info to pull it since this is private information and they would not want someone fraudulently getting a copy of it. If they only asked for name and address well, realize anyone stealing a piece of your mail would have that.
After having my identity stolen last week I signed up to get my credit report to make sure my stuff was safe. I was hesitant but in my situation I had to do it. You could probably call Experian or Equifax and tell them over the phone? A bit safer.
