Does anybody know a site where you can really get your free credit score at?

I want to know my credit score but I can't find a site that doesn't charge.

Oh doesn't it frusterate you when people do not read the question al the way!!! You asked about your score not your report!

There is not anywhere on the internet you can get your SCORE for free. You can of course get your reports for free from https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/i... you cannot get your score for free...

I recomend signing up for a "monitering service" that offers a free trial, and killing the free trial once you have the info you are looking for. Make sure you write the phone number down so you can do it as soon as you are done looking at your scores, otherwise the only way to get the number is from your bank once they start charging you! Here is a site I have used:

http://www.freecreditreport.com/...

Do not forget to cancel right away or you will forget and get billed $12.99 per month!
I've looked and I can't find any sites that show you your credit score 100% free. You're best bet would be to sign up for a 30 day trial of scorewatch or one of those other monthy services and cancel before the 30 day trial period is over. I did that, but I opted to pay for the service so I wouldn't have to worry about it in the future.

There's a difference between a credit report and a credit score. annualcreditreport.com only gives you information on the accounts you've had, your employment history and your address history. It does not provide you with a free fico score.
Yes you can go to annual credit report.com....this is free, no charges at all, you can check it once a year with all 3 credit bureaus.

Nothing is ever truly free in this world, but a credit report is under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) which requires Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion to provide you with a copy of your credit report annually at no charge. You must either request your free credit report by calling 1-877-322-8228 or by visiting https://www.annualcreditreport.com...

And while one credit report per year is yours free thanks to the FCRA, credit scores are not, which is why people actually sign up for these type of services. But keep this in mind the next time you're contemplating taking a peek at your credit score, according to the Red Tape Chronicles most banks or insurance companies have their own formulas for computing your overall score, so paying for it may do you no good.

You can access your credit report free of charge from each of the three major credit reporting agencies at annualcreditreport.com . The government has mandated that the credit reports be provided to you for free. The free service only includes the credit report - there is a small charge for your FICO score.

Beware of other sites, like freecreditreport.com, that actually sign you up for a service with a monthly fee. Only annualcreditreport.com will provide one free report annually from each of the three companies. Note that anyone that is turned down for credit is also allowed to access one free credit report, even if they've received another free credit report within the last year. Hope that helps.
