When your debt is less than 30% of your credit limit, then your credit score will go up by 10 points. The best way to raise your credit score is to pay your bills on time, and in full every month. Make sure what you are borrowing against is less than 40% of your credit limit, and avoid taking out more credit. The more consistent you are, the better your score.
