| *Loan,banking and credit>>>credit score |
I've never had a credit card, what would my credit score be determined under? |
Would I even have a credit score? There is not really a score with credit ratings. You wouldn't have a credit rating yet if you have never applied for a loan or any credit (even a mobile phone application will go on your cra) When you first apply for credit it will create a cra for you. I doesn't really matter when your trying to get credit if you are new to lending, most places will be willing to lend you money as long as you can afford to make repayments and have a stable employment. (and dont ask for crazy amounts) Just make sure you dont go silly getting credit cards, if its your first time just get a small limit maybe max max $1000, Credit cards will always have a higher interest rate than a personal loan, and be harder to repay. Think about a small personal loan if there is something you really want. Stress you dont need a credit rating to get credit card..... my previous role was as a credit assessor, it just make you a bit more wary that it is your first time borrowing, you wont lend as much and you rely on the persons account conduct and savings history. Dont think you need credit just to get a rating that is the most stupid thing ever! If you don't need it don't get it. Live debt free, speaking from experience its much better. Now days people are giving out credit to anyone almost, so don't fear that when you do want it would wont be able to because of your nil credit rating. and to below its better not to have a credit rating than have a bad one, are you insane! No credit, if you don't have anything in ur name, cell phone, gas, electric, loans, etc... If you have never had credit, the credit reporting agencies won't even have a credit report on you. No score. That said, there are things that can affect your credit score and/or create a credit report without having a credit card: 1) You could have non-credit card credit, such as a car loan or store credit. 2) You could have paid late on a bill. The electric/phone/whatever company may place a negative item on your credit report if you owe them money. Personally, I think this sucks, because they never place positive items. -->Adam no credit as bad or worse than bad credit. get some credit, yesterday. |
