Can you refinance a mortgage with a credit score in the 400's? |
Can you refinance a mortgage with a credit score in the 400's? First, do not contact online predators. Spammers, like Marty from Premier Loan Sharks, are wanting to prey upon your situation, not help. You can suffer worse then financial lose, you could be giving your credit information to an identity thief and suffer for years to come. It is especially hard to deal with if you deal with anotehr country, there is no way to know where someone online is really located and if you have any legal rights if they steal from you. YOu are going to be better off with your present mortgage. You can do it in the 400's, I know that country wide will, but your interest rate will be outrageous. If you do you are looking at a rate that is outragious...it most likely wouldn't be worth it. Try your best to raise your credit score and then refi.... No. Years of experience The places that will let you are very limited, but yes. You'd probably be looking at an interest rate in the double digits though. If you're currently in an FHA mortgage, and have made your last 12 payments on time, then yes, but it is more like a rate reduction and not a refinance called a streamline. Your credit score is not a basis for qualification, only your payment history. Loan officer |
