What is a good site to check out your credit score?


i was told that i have some debt in collections.. is there anyway to find out how much and from who?

i went with the freecreditreport.com. Its NOT free of course, cost 20 bucks i think. pretty good way to see everything that was going on with my credit though.

The only one recommended by the Federal Government is www.annualcreditreport.com.

You can get a free copy of each of your credit reports there. If you want your score? You must pay for it.

annualcreditreport.com is the only truly free site. You can check each of your three credit reports (experian, equifax, and transunion) once a year for nothing. You have to pay extra if you want your actual credit score, but your concern is potential negative accounts so this should suffice.
