Can I still rent a house/apartment with a low credit score?

Do landlords always do a credit check? Will I ever be able to rent with a low credit score? What are my options?

Most apartment complexes check credit. Most landlords do as well, but not all.

Large apartment complexes usually check your credit. Small complexes may or may not. Private landlords don't always check your credit. They rely more on rental history. You can still rent an apt. with low credit. Sometimes the deposit may be higher. it varies.
Yes, its possible to rent with a low score or even a bad score. The renter industry answer is the equivalent to a co-signor for a loan.
The Guarantor of tenancy form and an application from an individual with good credit, assets and enough income to cover will get you the apartment.
