How do I clean my credit score? want to get on a good buget plain.? Start by getting a copy of your credit history from equifax. start by paying off old debt and cleaning it up that way. dont clean off too much or else you will be back to the point of not having credit. consult with a credit counsiler you can find one anywhere just about. one thing you can do to gain a better score is save back as much money as you can. put it in a savings account and then get a loan for that amount. start paying back the loan on time for the length of the loan. once you have done that save more money and put it in a savings account and then borrow more money and pay that back and the only thing your really paying for is the interest on the loan since you had the savings account pay for the loan. your score should be increased quite a bit. most importantly though to better your credit score i would recomend calling a credit counsiler and have them help clean up your history it is the fastest way. but it will cost you a bit of money depending on who you use. You "clean" your credit by paying your bills on time. If you have been late or delinquent in the past you can't wipe it off your report, it is part of your history. You need to start today with a new attitude of paying on time. The best budgeting forms and plan I have read is by Dave Ramsey. I suggest you check out his book The Total Money Makeover. His plan is clear and easy to understand and he tells you like it is and uses every day language. (I have also read Suze Orman, Howard Dayton, like Dave's plan the best.) It takes time but 1. pay your bills on time 2. Reduce the amount on your credit cards to 30% of the available limit. 3. If you pay off a card keep it open this keeps your available credit to debt ratio high 4. Do not apply for any more credit each time you do your points take a hit TO make a budget (Real easy if you have Excell) List your monthly bills, in fact take a month and keep track of every dime you spend keep a log. Compare that to your income. Next look as to where you can save. If you have Quicken, or MS Money you can track it like in a check book, and give each expenditure a title and it will graph it out for you in percentages and dollar ammounts. You can follow various methods to raise your credit score. If you have enough credit score you can apply any loan and credit card. Look at the below website having various method to raise your credit score. You can raise upto 249 points in short period. Read and follow it. http://raiseyourcreditscore.50webs.com... |
