My credit score is horrible 420 how can i raise it quickly?

Low scores can rise quickly if you straighten up and fly right for 1 year. My brother went from 580 to 714 in one year.

..He opened a 2 new credit card accounts in Feb 2006 and paid in full every month. Some folks say you should carry a balance, but he did not. I added him as an authorized user on my accounts.

..He paid off two collections accounts and they REMOVED it from his credit report when he requested it

..Feb 2006 to Mar 2007. his score went to 694.

..In Mar 2007 he bought a used truck and got a 12% interest rate.

Today his score is 714. This is his story and it will be different for others. All day long folks can tell you what to do but if you don't get inspired and feel hopeful you'll stay where you are.

Simple. Start paying your bills on time. You couldn't get a score as low as 420 without numerous late or missing payments.

Now, raising your score quickly is another matter. You didn't "achieve" your 420 score overnight, so you won't get rid of it overnight either. It will take a while for you to shed your reputation of being completely unreliable with money.
I just heard on the news a few days ago about people buying other peoples good credit. Something about people will allow other people to use their good credit for a price. According to the news it isn't illegal, just some crazy loop hole. Still yet, you will need to just slowly rebuild your credit, because it is much more expensive to buy credit.
