Is 620 an okay credit score? |
My fiancee has a credit score of 620. Is that good/bad/medium? Not sure. Any help or info would be appreciated. 620 is about the minimum middle score you can have to qualify for a mortgage. It's below average, but not too bad. The average credit score is around 670. 620 is considered low. I work in credit. If we have customers who have this low credit score, they may not have good rate. Your fiancee needs to build his credit score higher so he can get the benefits down the road. Most credit scores will range from 600-750, good credit is usually anything that is higher then 650. Moderately good credit is between 620 and 650 and bad credit is anything less then 620.
