How can you get a loan to consolidate your debt without having colateral? |
I want to pay off my credit cards with a loan but I don't have any collateral You don't need colateral. Just go into any financial institution (bank/credit union) and ask for an unsecured loan. If you have decent credit they should be willing to loan you up to $20k or more. Typically these interest rates are higher than a loan with colateral, but lower than most credit card rates. I disagree with Gotcha...no, most banks or credit unions will not give you a non-secured loan. But, I find it hard to believe that you have/had credit cards and don't have any assets at all. Did you know that household items can be colateral? Although, you best bet is to shop it around and see if another company will give you a better deal. Or perhaps a bank will give you a loan...it doesn't hurt to try...all they can say is no. Hello Dear, I saw your ad on needing a loan.Why not try a private lending company where i had obtained mine?
