Gum disease w/ diabetes and no money or dental insurance. any constructive ideas on what i can do?

For your sanity, safety, and your health, whatever you do, do NOT go to a dental school to get treated for this. Dentists are still be told Amalgam fillings are not bad for you while they plaster this mercury laden garbage in people's mouths in America, let alone understand what to do about gum disease. The only thing they are told is to put medicine on it that comes from some profit driven drug company rep that will put anything in your mouth that makes you feel better while your teeth and gums rot away.

There is a very simple answer, but it requires you to get smart about nutrition and that will take some time. While you are working on that, you can get rid of the gum disease by eliminating ALL sodas, ALL diet products, and follow the next items:

Purchase the following from: www.healthline.cc (not .com).

1. Nucleotides - Take about 6 to 8 of these per day
2. Allicidin - Take 6 of these per day
3. Neem Oil -
4. Pine Bark Extract -
5. Rub the mixture of the Neem Oil and Pine Bark Extract all over your gums in the morning and at night before bed.

This will stop any bleeding in about 1 to 2 days. Depending on the extent of the disease, it could take up to 1 month or so of doing this everyday to get rid of the gum problems.

It really works and you will be amazed at how quickly your gums will respond to this. I've know several people that have used this and gotten rid of 5 pocket severe problems with in 45 to 60 days. All gone.

good luck to you Source(s): Many years of nutritional studies - B.A. Biology & Chemistry
you can get the treatment done at dental schools at your place where you can get quality treatment at cheaper price as comapred to dental clinics!
Do you live anywhere near a dental school?
They might help.

What about your state dental society? Is there a number you could call and tell them your dilemma? Maybe they could help.

What about your county services? I think in my state you can get a Medicaid type service for things like this (after a waiting period, how cruel). But it is administered through the county so you have to start there.

In the meantime it would probably help to keep your mouth as clean as possible by brushing after every eating. When I had oral surgery they told me to rinse with diluted hydrogen peroxide (half water, half hydrogen peroxide) to help keep germs down. I've been using that as my main mouthwash ever since (costs less also).

To help fight the inflammation you might take aspirin if you are not allergic to it - but you need to ask a dentist or doctor about that. It's a very individual thing.

I hope you find some help soon.
Not sure if you a re from australia, but if you are, go to

to find out about australian schemes that coevr dentistry costs (yes Medicare does cover dentistry)

Do whatever you have to for the money part, whether it is taking out a loan, charging it on your credit card, asking for a friend or family, or applying for Medicare.

You will lose most of your teeth if you don't get this periodontal condition fixed. Get treatment as fast as possible to minimize permanent damage to your teeth - that'll cost even more later to fix.
