Dental Insurance?

When I started my job I signed up for insurance but im moving soon (out of state) and should use the insurance to get a cleaning before I leave... If I go to the dentist in the beginning of may and quit my job at the end of the month the insurance would still of covered that dentist appt right?

Yes, it is the day of service.
It should because you are still covered. You might even be covered for 30 days after you leave also if you are paying ahead for your insurance.
Yes I believe you are right. I think you also have a grace period and then can begin paying for the dental insurance premium yourself maybe a little more expensive however.

You may find it helpful during your relocation to look into dental plans which provide free cleanings exams, free consultations, etc. and require no paperwork, maximums or employer contribution etc.
