I need Dental Insurance not Discount Insurance!!? Dental insurance today should be called discount insurance. The reason being it is thirty years behind its time, the insurance company's have not increased the benefit packages on plans, only increased your premiums and give less benefit. Example: $1000.00 twenty five years ago would get a patient 3 crowns. Today the same benefit only pays for 1 crown, the insurance company's have not kept up with the escalating fees in dentistry, and I don't believe they will any time soon. So what we tell patients its only to help with their treatment, not to pay if fully. 30 years dentistry |
