What types of dental insurance accept invisalign? |
What types of dental insurance accept invisalign? Dentists are not insurance experts, so it would probably be a waste of time to ask. If you have orthodontic coverage with your insurance (you either do or don't), it will cover Invisalign the same way it would regular braces. Most ortho coverage has a lifetime maximum and pays 50% of the cost of treatment up to that maximum. In other words: cost of treatment is $4000 and you have a $1000 lifetime benefit. Insurance pays $1000 and you pay $3000. Or, treatment costs $1500, your insurance pays 50% or $750 and you pay the rest. ask your dentist. I don't think isurance covers it. I tried and they told me they could set up me for payment plans. Although that was like $250 a month. Ask the insurance company if they cover invisalign. |
