What is the best Dental Insurance Carrier/Provider in North Carolina? (Or surrounding areas)?

People get confused about insurance. It's not really the insurance carrier/company, it's what the employer is willing to pay for.

All companies offer similar benefits from a list: basic, major, ortho, etc. The employer decides how much the company will contribute to the employee's benefits.

There really are no good individual dental plans for the following reason: dental insurance companies MUST take in more in premiums than they pay out in benefits. The ONLY way to make a profit is to cover a group.

The best way to get information is to talk to a broker who works with small companies. They can compare several different plans and help you decide what you want for your employees.
