What consists of full dental insurance...does that mean they pay for everything???Or they pay for some? i have never seen dental insurance that paid 100% of anything other than routine checkups. you want dental insurance that pays the most for the treatment with the least amount of deductible.ask your dentist what insurance carrier he likes best and try to go with that one. I have full dental and they pay for my annual checkups which include teeth cleaning. It depends on what insurance it is and would be wise for you to check around. Anything else like cavity fills or crowns they pay a certain percentage of or they may pay for all. Anything cosmetic you may still pay most of it, but not all. Check them out first. There is really no full coverage insurance. Most dental will pay 100% of preventive, xrays and diagnostic procedures then pay 80% on basics procedures which are fillings, extractions, root canals, and periodontal procedures then 50% on crowns bridges dentures partials your deductible will depend on what you choose when you pick your insurance plan it can be from $25.00 to $200 or no deductible Insurance is really tricky you just have to know what you want and what questions to ask. GOOD LUCK |
