Does anyone know of any good dental insurance?

I live in Illinois and my employer doesn't offer dental insurance, so I am on the search for some, if anyone has any good ones, let me know.. thanks...

If your job does not offer insurance, perhaps they will offer a "medical spending account". This plan allows you to withhold pre-taxed dollars to use for non-insured medical/dental/vision costs.

It's a good deal if you plan carefully. In most of the plans, funds unused at the end of the year are lost - so be sure to only hold out what you think you'll need.

Invidual dental plans are hard to find and generally cost more than they're worth.

Emmalue's right, so vote for her, since she got back to you first. You will not generally find good dental insurance for individuals. The thing is, insurance companies are in BUSINESS and they want to make a PROFIT. They know exactly how much any given group is going to spend for their dental needs, so they construct a fee schedule for that group and decide how much premium that they will need to charge to pay out those fees for that group and still make money. Dental insurance can be a big loser for the insurance companies, because EVERYONE has dental problems. Not everyone has a heart attack.
