Why are dentists so expensive? and why is dental insurance so crappy? I don`t know but, I certainly agree with you.. It is a crying shame when the Government will pay for Viagra so OLD men can get it on, But the average middle class person doesn`t get any kind of dental care.. I mean it is ridiculous to pay $150.00 to have ONE tooth pulled. Which takes the dentist all of five minutes to pull. For crying out loud. That is very good money for five minutes work.. And on top of that. I knew someone who died at 42 due to having bad teeth. So it is NOT like it is ONLY a cosmetic thing. It is a serious health issue.. It is sad in OUR Country that anyone has to do without health care.. i know what you mean. i am 33 and need braces, we have great insurance, but still can't afford it. Who knows why they are so expensive, maybe because they have student loans to pay off. Because the materials used in dental offices are super expensive so in order to pay for everything and still make reasonable profit they need to charge accordingly. Dental Assistant Take a look at the car they drive, the house they live in, where they go for their vacation. There lies the answer. What is cheap today? So many people have their mouth with foul smell. Dentists bear the smell and for which they charge extra. |
