I think my wisdom tooth is coming in and it hurts! But i don't have dental insurance!!!? |
A couple weeks ago my back tooth was hurting really bad but it eventually went away within a week. Now the other side is hurting. Its swollen and it hurts the worse when im sleeping. I dont have dental insurance right now so what should i do! are you a college student? If so, go to your school's health dept and tell them. They can refer you to a dentist that can do it cheaply. Do you have another kind of insurance?? General health? Some health insurance plans cover more than just medical doctor visits. You can see a therapist, optomotrist, and even a dentist under some plans. Read the fine print. If you have none of these, go to a county health department and see what you can have done. In the mean time, take some aleve or advil. In reality, if the teeth haven't come out at all yet and that turns out to be the problem, they will probably advise you to just wait until they are showing. You might have an abscess, too so you should be seen. Contact your county's department of social services. If you also are low-income, they will get you seen by a dentist. If you just have no insurance and are not low income...then you are just going to have to pay to be seen. Most dentists will make a payment plan for you. Also, check to see if any colleges/universities near you has a dental school. There are dental clinics you just have to look for them. We have a great one in our local college. I pull my own. when your wisdom teeth come out it hurts. just live through it, youll be fine. i did, and i never got mine pulled. If there is a local dental school around you, you prob can get a really good deal on it or just go to a dentist and see if you can set up a payment plan....Your lookin at $900 - $1500 the best thing to do is to keep that area as clean as possible, bacteria will make it worse |
