On average, how much would it cost to have your teeth whitened w/o dental insurance? |
No over the counter stuff, the real deal by a dentist... I had the BrightSmile done twice. It was $500 and it didn't work as well as I planned. They redid it and still was not as white as I'd liked them to be. They said I could get up to 7 shades lighter, but when they hold the color strips up to your teeth, it's hard to see. I didn't think it was worth the money I spent on it. I bought my son the GoSmile and it was $90.00 and it's worked just as good as the treatmetn I had. About $600. According to my dentist. Most insurance companies don't cover whitening and it'll cost between $150 and $400, depending on which process you pick. Depends on where you live, call around to dentist's office and they will be more than happy to quote you rates. I think it's at least $500, but probably more. a few hundred dollars. Britesmile runs sales for $399 to whiten and the pods are pretty cool while the procedure is going on. |
