I need dental work and have insurance, but not cash up front? |
I have severe problems with breaking and discolored teeth. I have a DMO, but was told I would need to have $1000 cash up front. They wouldn't work on a payment plan because I have a DMO. I can make monthly payments, but don't have that kind of money all at once and don't have great credit because of medical issues. I'm in so much pain and desperate to get this done. Any suggestions? Let them know that you can't afford to get cash up front to pay the bill and that the lowest you can give is $5. If they won't agree to this then check to see if there is a dental school in the area that might be of some help with this situation. Also check with your city's health dept to see if they offer free dental clinics that could possibly help out. I have the same problem. I think I'v heard of places where they do free dental work. Ask your local welfare office. find a dentist in your dmo network. Drop the DMO and get the eHealthPlus membership. Then find a dentist on the eHealthPlus network who will take payments. Most do. Search for dentists by full address and give them a call and ask if they have payment plans available in addition to discounts. http://eHealthPlus.com |
