Where does one get a life and disability insurance license in order to sell insurance?
You will need to take the Life & Health Insurance Exam. Dearborn.com has good study materials for it. At some point you will want to take the Series 6 & 63 OR Series 7 Exam. This is for securities including variable life. I would call a local insurance agent, http://www.findlocalinsurance.com... to find out where the nearest testing center is and if they have any suggestions about what insurance company to work with.
Insurance licenses are under the control of the state department of insurance. Use Google to search for your state's department of insurance. There may be an exam.
