How can I get medical insurance for my dog AFTER I find out she needs surgury costing over $3,000.00 dollars?
I'm not sure you can, because the insurance that you would like to get for your dog- the brokers will contact the vet you choose to have for your pet, and they will need a current check-up performed by the vet that you will not be included in- they will do this after you get the insurance and the vet in contact. Then if a problem arises you must use the vet that had the healthy information you gave them. At this point it is a bit late, but you could request donations on a site that features your breed or a generic donation site. I'm sorry for your problem. Good Luck!
