My dog may have just eaten some paracetamol will the insurance cover it? |
Hi, My dog has just been taken into the vets as we suspected that she got a box of paracetamol out of a handbag and may have eaten 3. I thought it best to be safe than sorry, they want to put her on a drip and give her some medicine for her liver etc and keep her in for 2 nights. They reckon that the total will come to approx 拢250-拢300, But I dont know if my insurance will cover this. I am covered with More Than for vets fees up to 拢7000, But there are so many catches they have i dont know if they will pay out. Can anyone help? Suicide attempts are not covered by insurance! only if the dog poop out some of the material for proof then they might then... im sorry but whats paracetamaol? just put it on additional details and i'll do best to answer. Most insurances cover emergency visits. I would send in the claim just in case. Hope your pup is okay by the end of this. well most states where you live might be allow the sugery doctors or the veterinary clinic place will help the owners to pay half the money but not many veterinaries will not take any insurance if its covered already . i would just call or even check see if youre insurance looks okay if not then i dont know what you can do after if you dont have any extras money to paid youre dog veterinary bill then i think you stuck with it .. or you can ask youre families members if they can layed you some money then whenever you have the time or even get paid again then you can pa the people you borrow from . dont worrie bout it i gave my dog crayons just to see if he would **** different colours and he turned out fine |
