My dog has to have surgery for gingival hyperplasia. Which insurance is best for this? |
My dog needs antirobe caps, hospital inject, iv cath, antibiotic, preanesth blood screen, and gingival hyperplasia cautery. You won't be getting any insurance if you already know something is wrong. Insurance, even on your pet, is something you buy BEFORE anything goes wrong. No one will insure the little guy now. Sorry, cash it is! That insurance in your pocket. Its called cash money baby. Modified 1 year ago there is pet insureance offered by the AKC and your animal does not have to be pure bred to sign up it is on the AKC home page. It is now a "pre-exsisting illness" so you will not be able to get pet insurance. You need to get this when you first get your pet. However, if you talk to your mortgage company they should be able to give you a home equity that should cover most of the surgery. I learned this the hard way, my pug ate a rock and it cost me over $2500 to have it surgically removed from her belly. The second rock she ate only cost me about $1000 because they were able to remove it without surgery. And the last rock she ate was about FREEBIE because I knew what the problem was by her symptoms and I just waited a few days to pass...and it did. Good luck. |
