The neighbors pitbull broke through my fence, my dog is gone and they refuse to give me their insurance name? |
The neighbor's pitbull broke through my fence again, but this time, my akc Yorkie has disappeared. It is obvious that the pitbull killed it. The neighbors won't discuss it, but did get rid of the dogs after they came after me 2 wks later. Coincidently, the day their dogs left is the day my cat disappeared. I want to deal with their homeowner's insurance but they refuse to give me any info. How can I find out? The fence has been chewed through in several places and I want my pedigree dog replaced at some later date. Sorry about your dog, that's awful. I would never have left it alone in the yard if I knew those pits were chewing through the fence all the time. Why didn't you call the police when you knew the dogs killed your Yorkie? Especially since you have children that could have been attacked! They went after you and you still didn't call the police? Something is wrong with this story. Do you think the insurance company is just going to take your word for it and cut you a check? Their insurance company will probably not do much since you have no proof other than a hole in the fence and you will have to file a lawsuit and they will bury it for years. You not calling the police when this happened is going to make them think you are lying. Call the police, show them the damage, and file a police report. Or go to small claims court and if the judge decides in your favor you'll get all the information you need! Good luck!! I would get the police involved because they are very irresponsible File a report and tell them that you are getting the authorities involved maybe that will change their behavior also you might want to get a lawyer Those kind of people are the ones that makes other pitbull owners look horrible. call tha police take them to small claims court Contacting the police is your best answer. No matter what happens, you will need that police report. Regardless of whether or not they decide to cooperate, you still need that report. Sorry about your dog. Irresponsible people like that should be executed. |
