What's the best pet insurance for dogs?

Hi I'm looking for the best pet insurance for dogs. I have a 4 year old labrador cross and am looking for someone who insures for the whole lifetime of the dog. Any help? I've just spent about two hours on comparative websites looking for a deal and I'm very confused!

I would go for Marks & Spencers insurance as it's the only one which gives you no excess, it works out a couple of pounds dearer but it is worth it in the long run as most vet visits come to 拢30 so if you have insurance with 拢30 or 拢50 excess there is no point claming.

Anyway, try your local vet. Ours operate an independent scheme that does cover the life of the animal
pet plan wud most probably be the best. the kennel club is alot more expensive. if u wana go really cheap, u cud go for tesco/sainsbury crappy insurance, but i recommend pet plan, thats what i have. :)
E&L specialise in pet insurance.....My old english is half the price of anyone else with these.....
