How do i get financial help providing housing services to the mentally ill in the community? .non profit org. |
Is there anyone out there who will like to sponsor this great course.? You would need to contact the Housing Commision as they approve and give licenses to social housing providers. You are better off working within an existing social landlord or local council as these will have services and housing specifically aimed at those with mental health issues. The best way for people with mental health issues to integrate into society and get housed is for them to have support and guidance and advocacy from within organisations providing housing. A good friend of mine works as a mental health support worker for a housing association and I've worked in housing for over 5 years.
