Does the cost of social services that illegal immigrants receive outweigh their financial contribution? |
I'm interested in all points of view! Undocumented Immigrants do not qualify for welfare because of their status in this country. Some people may say that their children do qualify if born here in the US. Yes, they do, but don't forget they are US citizens. Here where I live, pregnant women that don't have proof of legal residency have to pay all doctor visits adding up to $3000.00 the least. SO WHERE IS THE FREE RIDE...... I am not for the undocumented people who come here and harm others. But the ones who come here to look for a better life for their families, I support. Don't you think that if all they wanted to do is harm, they would cross the river through the night and rob the people near it? These people risk themselves to bring food to their family's table. I'm disappointed at those people (US Citizens) who live off of welfare because they qualify for it depending on their income, not only the children of these people. People living on the streets are 90% US Citizens who are begging for money. So think.... Wouldn't you think they go and beg for a job at a landscape, restaurant or other low wage jobs. NOPE!! They stand on the streets, begging for money. These people who all of you keep on humilating, go and ask for the job. No, they don't get free education, not from where I am in Illinois. As I know, our property taxes pay for school, alot of these people own house and pay their taxes. We have fee to pay (EVERYONE PAYS) every year, lunch too. I know people who are paying for college out of their pockets "HIGH PRICES".. WHERE IS THE FREE RIDE AGAIN... WHERE IS THE FREE RIDE... COOK COUNTY HOSPITAL IN CHICAGO.... It charges, too. People think, we have a big problem, but not with them.. WE HAVE CRACK, METH and LSD that is killing our kids. Cancer is killing more and more people every year. Everyone is responding to send them back "to their country, NOT JUST MEXICO" Well did you think you will be seperating families, children that have rights as a citizen. Their parents were working for them to sustain them, but now you have IDIOTS who want to seperate them.. Well you will be causing a bigger problem POVERTY is going to rise.... OH by the way, you are all scare that one day, our president will be hispanic "Nope not just a MEXICAN but a LATINO".. NO MATTER WHAT ALL OF YOU THINK< THE ONLY PERSON THAT WILL DO GOOD FOR ALL IS GOD not you, me or the president. ONE DAY GOD WILL CHANGE ALL THIS and make it a better place where there is NO RACISM. Sorry to say but... "AMERICA IS RACIST" And please understand that it is not onlye the HISPANICS who come here illegally. It is everybody around the world who has seen poverty to the lowest of its levels. One thing some people here in the US will never get to see. 2% pick fruit, 29% are on welfare. 60% of HUD dwellers are illegals. Getting the picture? The don't contribute financialy our society. If we had all the information I am sure that the number who are actually working subtracted from the number who are on welfare/supported by the state, and the sheer number of the families who come over with the workers would far outnumber the benefits. Immigration is a good thing but it should be monitored and controlled. Letting people leave their countries to come to the UK because we have free National Health, Schools (for what they are worth now) housing, and social security is not the answer as the problems they are running from are either brought with them into the new country (isolation and integration) but they remain in the country they have just left, and do not improve. The much maligned Enoch Powell was not too far off the mark felt that it would have been better to help these improve their lives, and their fellow countryman's lives in their own countries rather than running away from the problems. We are just being submerged with even more problems which when we try to tackle them gets us branded as racist. My answer - I am emigrating. What part of illegal don't you understand? Illegal immigrants should receive NO SOCIAL SEVICES. They should go back to where they come from. They come here and suck up all the benifits and do not contribute anything. AMERICA NEEDS TO WAKE UP!
