Why do preachers concern themselves about their financial state and capital to preach and doing God service? |
Christians.... supposed to be managing everything God has given them including money and goods....I don't understand why prachers cry over some capital loss or their net profit loss...in doing God service. I really don't understand. Please help me understand the stand point of such...can you explain to me without ridiculing or condemning anybody please? AMEN! Can you imagine the good that could be done with all the money wasted on real estate, maintenance, utilities, buildings, etc. all in the name of Church. What if we gave up all the buildings and met in smaller groups like in Acts 2.3 and 4? What if we used all the money that saved and help the poor, the orphans, widows and perform the ministry of Jesus? Wow, what a concept! Writing Sure, I never condemn anyone. I think it is the greed against which they often preach. Number one, they're human, number two, religion brings suffering to the world through its inconsistencies and irrationalities perpetrated on the masses. They cannot meet community/church needs if there is no money. If you worked for the red cross would you care if funding lapsed? Some people are just plain chincy, Christian or not and they won't give to God because they won't give it up to someone they think just wants the money. They are entitled to it and should not have to coerce or beg but apparantly they do. Modified 1 year ago They have to pay Bills just like the rest of us and doing it on the donations of others can be daunting the money just isn't always there, So they have to ask and try to keep the doors open so they can care for there parishioners. |
