I am looking for a credible but cheap Health Insurance that goes with me anywhere in the U.S.?

There are many plans available that can be used anywhere in the U.S. if you are traveling. However, there are no plans that will "follow" you if you move to another state because state laws are different so the plan have to be different.

I don't know what your definition of "cheap" is but you should visit a local independent agent who can find the best policy for your situation. The agent doesn't charge you any extra for the service and they can get you a plan that will cover your wherever you might be.

You might get some responses here for medical discount cards. Be very wary of these cards. They are not regulated by the Department of Insurance nor do the people that sell them need to be licensed. This means you have little recourse when you have problems with the plan. If you are tempted by the low price and claims of 鈥渟ave up to 80%鈥?be aware that very few doctors actually take these cards. It does you little good if you have to drive 4 hours to find a doctor that will accept the card. One state couldn鈥檛 find any doctors in that state that took the card and only one dentist who was on probation for unlawful activities so they banned the sale of the card. Before signing up with any discount plan get a list of doctors. If they won鈥檛 give you a list consider it to be a scam. Call the doctors on the list to make sure they鈥檙e still taking the card (many don鈥檛 even know that they鈥檙e listed as a provider) and that they鈥檙e accepting new patients. Source(s): Independent Agent
