If mental health checkups were paid by insurance like dental checkups, would you go? |
Don't you think everyone could benefit from regular visits to a counselor? We all have problems and stresses in our lives, and maybe regular checkups could head off more serious problems the way regular dental cleanings help prevent cavities and gum disease. If insurance companies offered something like that - say, a two-hour visit every 3 months or something - I'd sure go. Would you? mine actually are assisted by insurance which is the only reason I CAN go :) I'd be going all the time. |
