Where can I find the best deal on underwritten health insurance for an individual?

The individual is me. I am self-employed and my current insurance company keeps hiking my rates. I am now paying over $300/month with a $2000 deductible and I'm under 40 with no known health issues and I'm in decent shape. Apparently I don't have the "perfect" weight and "outstanding" health history as I have been rate hiked when applying to two other companies. (standard vs. preferred). Where should I go for a better rate and deductible? I'm tired of these websites and local insurance rep cons who quote you at the "preferred" rate and just hassle you then rate hike you at the last minute. I can't believe that's even legal. Anyway, TIA for any help on this!

Sorry to hear about your hassle with the local insurance reps.
Your best bet is to _increase_ the deductible on
your current insurance thus reducing the premium,
and supplement with
the MySimpleCard membership for the first dollar coverage.
