Should obese people be blamed for the rising cost of health insurance? |
http://viviansjustice.blogspot.com/... Read it and see what you think um, fokes, this is her blog. the names match. and its like the 3d time she's asked people about it. shes trying to promote her ideas without people sending her mail on why she is very narrow minded, and picking on one group as opposed to all the idiots that make the cost of health-care go up. How 'bout cigarette companies and companies that dump toxic waste into rivers and oceans? No more than those who smoke, drink heavily or use abortion as a method of birth control. Oh, whatever. Everyone has a vice. No one wants to pay for health insurance; but everyone wants the best care possible. Sometimes it takes a village, but no one is willing to accept that kind of responsibility. Taking uninsured children to the ER for an earache because you have no insurance is to blame. People who can't go to the doctor for a headache, because they can't afford it or don't have insurance; and end up in the hospital for a month with an brain tumor are to blame. People who have circumstances they can't manage or control are to blame. At this point, the whole system is so broken, who cares who is to blame. Blaming won't make it better. That lady's blog is close minded, elitist, drivel. Her notions are absurd and she desperately needs a wake up call. Yes Haven't you asked this before? No I don't think they are to blame. NO. The doctors and patients who abuse the healthcare system are the ones who should be blamed. Doctors for ordering tests and medications that patients don't need. Patients for running to ERs for every burp and fart and demanding all kinds of tests and medications for everything. And THAT doesn't even touch the tip of the iceberg. What about the people who make absurd amounts of money and get state-funded Medicaid. Who's paying for that? You, me, and all the other schmucks who work for a living and pay honest taxes. |
