As long as you are Command Sponsored, you are fine. You will be seen by the base hospital personnel and are covered under TRICARE Prime. even visitis to local hopsitals are covered.

if you are NOT Command sposnored, than your access to such facilities is greatly reduced(last priority to get appointments on base for instance, and you would have to pay out of pocket for anything and everything outside the gates.)
If you are a military wife you should have Tricare insurance. You can go to the hospitals on base for free through the military. I know when My friend moved to Germany she had to take a HIV test and be current on all her immunizations.
No, Italy is Europe, not the US. Anyway the US military should cover you.
They should already have health insurance with the military anyhow. but I've never heard of a military wife needing health insurance to get into another country. She'll probably need to take a TB-time test before going but that is about it.
Hello, if you are married to a military member you have health insurance........................ Its called tricare. and you don't pay a premium for it. Overseas you will see the military healthcare folks anyway.........
are you saying you do not have coverage by the military?
BTW, Italy has national health care for it's people, it's not like in America where 44 million have none and half that number are women and children.
No, you don't need health insurance, you are covered by the military .....under your husband. They have a base in Italy, I cannot remember the name right now. But don't worry about anything the military will take care of all your needs,
