I want to retire at 55 how do I bridge health insurance?

I want to retire at 55 how do I bridge health insurance?

If your employer doesn't provide health insurance to retirees (most don't, unless you have a traditional pension plan that includes this), then you have to buy your own.

You should definitely comparison-shop. You can do this either through a local insurance agent who represents several companies or through a free online service that gets quotes from several.

Here's a page with links to a few of the online services that I've found to work well... Source(s): Compare health insurance - http://finance.necessaryvirtues.com/debt...
You pay for it yourself, either through your former workplace (if they'll let you) or getting a single policy on your own. Will cost you a bundle.
You can always get health insurance over here!!
