How much does it cost for an abortion if u have health insurance?? |
i was just curious about... It really depends. The physician I used gave a discount for having insurance and after all was said and done, it cost about $300. Don't let anyone tell you what you can and can not do with YOUR body. You are the only one that will be affected by your decision. You will mourn; you will be very depressed. Just make sure this is something you can handle emotionally. Please don't ever consider abortion. Take the necessary precautions when you engage in activities that lead to abortion. That is totally dependent on your health care provider, and the type of insurance you have. Some providers will not cover abortions; others cover it at some percentage (25%, 50% and 80% are the standard coverage percentages). abortion is bad so unless you are pregnant i dont want to have to answer this question if you are just curious. take responsibility for your actions. unfortunately, most insurances will not cover it. you will get lucky if they do. You should contact your insurance provider and ask them about their coverage. They may not cover abortions at all, or they may only cover a percentage. If they don't cover it and you should happen to need one, Planned Parenthood will help you to find a reliable doctor who doesn't charge a lot and may even let you repay them over time. Some insurance companies will cover the entire cost exept for your co-pay, others will pay a percentage, and other carriers won't cover it at all. You need to talk to your doctor and research your health insurance. |
