How much is the premium being paid to the members with HEALTH insurance of PETPlans and Sunlife Philippines?
Premiums are paid by the insurer and not by the companies. If you want health insurance you should go to a reputable company like Sunlife Philippines or Philam Life. They both have pre-need plans and the cost depends on what you want covered. Some of the factors you will need to consider is what hospitals are included in the plan, some hospitals are more expensive and therefor are not included. Also, how much per day will be paid for hospital room, meds, doctor's fees, etc.. The entire amount may not be covered by your plan so best to check out how much you can actually afford to spend in case it isn't entirely covered. Also, get yourself covered by Philhealth and SSS. Philhealth will pay for part of your hospital bills and SSS can give you sickness benefits for the days you will be absent from work. Another thing you should consider is that health insurance is renewable yearly so if you don't use it for the year, it's basically gone. I got a health insurance from Philam Life a few years ago and never used it once. I now got a Life Insurance, it will be a little more expensive since you have to pay a certain amount for 12-13 years but if you get the Return Of Premium Rider on the 20th year of your policy you get back what you paid on your frist year multiplied by 20! You basically get your money back and you are still insured. Plus, get the Accident & Health Rider which means your accidents and other sickness is also covered. Get in touch with an agent of any of these companies and ask first what they can offer you. Don't commit right away until you compare their plans.
